About the Role:

Kapital are working with a Global Boutique Financial Services organization to assist in recruiting a Business Intelligence Developer to join their team on a permanent basis. The company operate in a number of different regions, with their head office based in Sydney. The role will be working as part of a close knit team, working to design, develop and test BI solutions to support and enhance the business operations. The role will require someone with prior experience within Financial Services, strong communication skills to work with BA’s to interpret requirements and initiatives into projects and enhancements, turning them into actionable reports. To be suited for this role you will have 5 years experience in IT with strong experience in developing and maintaining MSBI and SSRS Reports.

Skills we’re looking for:

  • Tertiary qualification in IT or Business Field
  • 3+ years experience in a BI Developer position
  • Strong knowledge of SSRS
  • Financial Services or Insurance Skills Mandatory
  • Knowledge of SSIS
  • Knowledge of PowerBI Advantageous
  • Strong SQL Development skills
  • Excellent Excel Skills
  • Good knowledge of database design, data modelling, and SQL/TSQL
  • Application integration skills working with tools such as SSIS or SSAS
  • Knowledge of Object Orientated Programming with ASP.NET, WCF, SSIS, Web Services and other distributed applications
