CTO / Head of IT

Kapital has been engaged by a Financial Services client on an exclusive basis, to assist in the search for a CTO / Head of IT. The aim is to appoint a senior technology leader to work on the expansion of the companies IT team and also the build out of a new back office accounting platform. The position will work closely with the C-Suite, COO, CFO and CEO on critical technology initiatives to achieve the wider business strategy.

Technical Requirements

* An experienced CTO, Head of IT, Head of Technology

* Ideally would have a background in product development, platform development or platform engineering.

* Would have worked for Financial Services start-ups or smaller financial services companies assisting in the companies growth.

* Would have led Agile and Scrum teams through product and platform transformations/implementations.

* Should have managed budgets of $1-3M and teams of around 10 staff

* A versatile pragmatist who can bring operations and technology onto the same strategic roadmap focusing on best-in-class technology delivery

* Good knowledge and experience of various Investment and financial services platforms, accounting systems, back office finance systems.

* Excellent ability to influence at the executive level and motivate a small team.
