Data Platform Integration Engineer (Data, AI, Machine Learning, Data Science)

About the Role:

Kapital Consulting is working with one of our fastest growing US Tech startups who are looking for Data Platform Solution Engineers based in Sydney. The position will look into the architecture and security of client environments, deliver platform solutions around AI, Machine Learning, Data Science and cloud, then implementation into the clients production environments. This role will work closely with Data Scientists to optimize business models and growth opportunities across all industries.

Responsibilities:

• 5+yrs experience as a Data Platform Engineering
• Technically sound across BigData (could be Spark, Hadoop, BI, Cloudera), Unix Linux and Windows platforms, Cloud (Any platform)
• Any Data Science skills would be valuable (Machine Learning, AI, R, Matlab, Python, Talend)
• Any pre-sales, customer solutioning, client/customer delivery, Implementation
• Ideally worked within companies who have been client facing in the AI, ML, Data Science, Data Decisioning space
• Any consulting experience would be valuable
• Solid understanding of the customer journey and consulting value proposition
• Bachelor of Computer Science or Engineering
