• Unique Data Steward position
• New business startup within an established financial client
• Sydney CBD based

One of our leading financial services clients in the Sydney CBD is building out a new Data Analytics platform and looking for a Data Steward who can work closely with both the internal business operations, Technology and Digital teams to provide additional features and analytics to external clients.

This is a completely new business line and the Data Steward will be responsible for the full Data life cycle from of Data Integrity, Data Governance and Data Quality to ensure the reliable use of the data for specific targeted client needs

Technical Skills Required

• Experienced working as a Data Steward / Data Analystimplementing and managing the governance and quality of data within the corporate business lines.
• Good experience across Data modelling, Data Analysis, Data Governance, Data Management (MDM)
• Big Data Technologies such as Cloudera, Python, SQL, Data manipulation
• Exposure working within an Agile environment
• Work on Data onboarding and managing the data processes
• Be responsible for Data Quality and look to continuously improve data controls and frameworks.
• Any exposure working within banking, trading, capital markets, OTCs would be useful
• Able to communicate effectively at all levels within the organisation and able to influence senior stakeholders
• Start up within an established business
